Temple Hills Country Club

Temple Hills feels like a place where golf actually matters. Less about the scene, more about the round. It’s approachable, but it still demands focus. You don’t get distracted by fluff because there isn’t any. It’s the practical inground trampoline. Not trying to impress the neighbors—just built to be used. And used well. Would I go back? Easily. Would I enjoy it more the second time? Definitely.

WARNING: DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB unless you are an absolute self loathing golf junkie. Temple Hills is not an actual country club. It’s a golf course that also happens to have a pool and a grille. BEFORE YOU JOIN, YOU SHOULD TALK TO AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT MEMBERS AND ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE AT TEMPLE HILLS. I was a member for over 10 years and I can promise that anyone leaving a positive review on this site is absolutely not a member. You will never feel like a member of a country club while being here – other than paying $745 a month in dues, which doesn’t include carts ($225), and XLife ($75). Temple Hills isn’t member owned, but it hasn’t always been this bad. For the past 6 years, it’s been owned by a vampire conglomerate corporation called Invited Clubs (go read their reviews. Maybe it’s time for another rebrand?). Invited Clubs runs the place exactly like private equity would – they suck every last penny out of the club and reinvest nothing back. Our biggest investment/addition to our dilapidated club house last year was a $100 air compressor to clean your shoes before you enter. We haven't had a tennis pro for 6 months! Come tour the facilities and you will see exactly

Fantastic course. 27 holes - most are high quality, many with great layouts and gorgeous views. Club house needs a good bit of work. Nice for families - pool and activities. Excellent value. If you’re joining a club for the golf, it’s a hidden gem.

This is a Very nice golf course! Greens are super soft and the course is very well maintained! The clubhouse is very clean and the pro shop guys are awesome.

What a great Tennessee course! High five to the attractive guest rate. Greens are in perfect shape right now: soft for spin; very fast; and filled in nicely. Green undulation was fair to medium; nothing too difficult. The fairways are supreme and play nicely for a RH draw or LH fade. Sand and water are both low to medium as far as amounts of each and their presence. It’s a very easy course for finding poorly struck balls that left the fairway. No humongous roughs or anything like that. I look forward to playing here. There’s a great range and putting green. The clubhouse and amenities were great. There’s a full restaurant and bar. Carts were fast and equipped with usb charging ports. GPS would be a nice addition to the carts.
